LONGi participated in the NX Solar Forum hosted by Nextracker in Dubai last week. The forum included discussions of industry stakeholders to solve the challenges and create opportunities in the solar photovoltaic (PV) sector in the Middle East.
Ms. Claire Wansi Zheng, Director of LONGi’s KSA/Middle East Branch, represented LONGi in a panel discussion titled “Installation, Commissioning, and Operating Challenges of Large-Scale PV Projects in the Middle East.” The session focused on addressing technical and operational issues in developing large-scale solar projects in the region.
LONGi, a solar tech company, has made contributions to the renewable energy sector by focusing on the advancement of high-efficiency solar modules and innovative solutions. The company’s solar panel technologies, including its Hi-MO series, are designed to improve energy output and adapt to diverse environmental conditions.
At the forum, Claire highlighted LONGi’s Hi-MO 9 module, which is based on second-generation hybrid passive back contact (HPBC) technology. This solar module is built to enhance power generation, reduce Balance of System (BOS) costs, and deliver reliable performance in demanding conditions such as high temperatures and dust, which are common in the Middle East.
Claire also mentioned LONGi’s Global Solar Expertise (GSE) services. These services include plant development, system design, and operations and maintenance (O&M). They aim to optimize the lifecycle performance of solar power plants while addressing specific challenges faced by clients in large-scale projects.
The company works to advance solar adoption worldwide by focusing on innovation and efficiency. The NX Solar Forum provided a platform for LONGi to engage with industry leaders and discuss solutions to improve the deployment of renewable energy in the Middle East.
