India based firm, Hynetic Electronics, a manufacturer of hardware and software solutions provider for IoT applications has secured the order to deploy Street Lighting POC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With this, the firm will mark its foray into the country.
In its statement the firm said, “With its recent street lighting POC deployment in Saudi Arabia, the company has embedded transformative solutions in the smart lighting space to achieve optimized energy efficiency and future-proof solutions.”
Commenting on this, Shashank Donthi, Director of Global Business Development of Hynetic Electronics said, “Increased CO2 emissions from lighting have pushed countries to deploy efficient lighting solutions embedded with smart intelligence and Saudi Arabia is no exception. We are delighted to deploy Street Lighting POC to phase out conventional lighting systems and make smart street lighting dominant as part of contributing to the net zero emission agenda.”
Dwelling on the firm’s deployment strategy, he said that Hynetics has integrated LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network), a wireless communication protocol to offer highly efficient and cost-effective means to connect and manage large networks of streetlights, enhancing their functionality and overall performance.”
The firm further noted that it has deployed NEMA Street Light Controllers to modernize and optimize urban lighting systems. The firm claims that the controllers adhere to globally accepted NEMA standards and are designed to manage and control street lighting infrastructure efficiently.
“Hynetic Electronics has successfully deployed 30,000+ controllers across various Smart City Lighting projects in India and also in Vietnam, Uruguay, Indonesia and Australia,” said the firm.
