North Abu Qir for Agricultural Nutrients and China Energy Engineering Corp have joined forces by way of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a green hydrogen project which will be established at the the agricultural firm’s premises. The announcement about the agreement was made by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources recently.
In addition to this, another MoU has also been signed between Egypt and China on renewable energy. Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and a Chinese delegation to exploit the potential of renewable energy resources at several locations of oil and natural gas across Egypt.
The agreement was signed during a meeting between between Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Corp, Song Hailiang, and his delegation. The collaboration will pave the way for the development of green hydrogen, and energy transformation technologies.
