Larsen & Toubro has appointed GE Grid Solutions to supply 380 kV T155 gas-insulated substations (GIS) for NEOM green hydrogen plant in Saudi Arabia. This was revealed in the firm’s press statement. Abu Dhabi’s Energy firm, Masdar has entered a deal with Kazakhstan to develop a wind power project of up to one gigawatt (GW). This project will support the country’s goal of achieving half its energy mix from renewables by 2050. The world’s largest single-site solar park in Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, has received two bids (ACWA Power and Masdar) for phase VI of the 1,800 MW tender launched in September 2022.
