Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited has announced that it signed Power Purchase Agreements with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (“EGAT”) for the development of a total of 12 solar farms and the solar farms with battery energy storage systems projects. Saudi Arabia aims to add 20 gigawatts of renewable energy annually to reach 130 gigawatts of renewable energy before 2030.
